    Agreed, but I'm not complaining. Check out the chart just before they started the buyback... BTA looked like heading down another level based on sentiment. I don't see the buyback supporting a sustained rise as 80c and $1 are going to be tough resistence levels looking at the charts.

    Should they have bought back cheaper? Depends on your view... if you think the stock is well undervalued perhaps a rapid accumulation is the way to go. If you think it would get cheaper a slower approach may be adopted.

    No idea what BTA mgmt are thinking... I'm hoping it's the former! I'd hate to think they are doing it to prop up the price, it will be all over in a few weeks at this rate (traders take note!).... just keep in mind:

    "Our governance is particularly sound for a company of its size, with experienced directors working diligently and cooperatively."
