Turnbull IMHO has the one attribute that Costello lacks: A ticker. Turnbull has the drive to want the leadership. He moves and acts in ways that say that he wants the job. You don't have to like or agree with him, but I see someone who hungers for the job.
Then you look at Cossie. No ticker. No drive. No ambition. It's even been said around the traps that Cossie will only accept the leadership if the party want him and offer it on bended knee with no one else being offered the part. Some drive and ambition for the job!
At least the Turnbulls and Keatings had the drive and an idea. Even Howard had the drive. You mighn't have liked the idea or the direction they went, but they went. I don't see Cossie knowing where he wants to go. He looks like the archtypal dog who surprised itself and caught a car. What do I do now!
