Would this I think be the highest volume day[apart from the ANZ days]
I imagine an announcement would be forthcoming prior to the meeting tonight re the contents of the meeting maybe after close of trading today.
Also there has been 86 mill shares traded in the past 3 months including about 60 mill of those of the ANZ bank so only 20 mill really traded and I would say the vast majority of those would be long termers topping up at the 30 cent mark to average out their other purchases up to $1.50. What I am saying is this share is pretty tightly held and most are in for divis in the long term.
If meeting is not quite up to expectations then I think most will still wish to hold so not such a dramatic drop in price. My thoughts only.PS And if it does drop will curve its way back up in the next month or so.
