I reckon if anyone thinks these fires are all just about climate change, needs to read a book. There is a lot more going on than that simplistic argument. The media have learned that keeping a message to as few words as possible can help bend the public's view point. It is similar to running an advert. Get the point across asap even if they are selling BS or exaggeration. Show naive people smoke and tell them its climate change is a great example of that. Some City people don't know what it is like and live in a protected society outside of nature as a rule. Point to smoke and they believe the press. Not one scientists on earth can accurately segregate the cause of the fires because it is a consequence of numerous feeders like arson. If we have tipping point events, it is very easy to get carried away with blame.
