Are scientists people?
What is your point? I am clearly talking about most people who lack information and expertise and yet imagine their opinions are equal to scientists who are experts in the field.
This is solipsism of the worst kind.
Clue: always look to context in discussion.
But if you're trying to hold up an unsustainable view, by all means take the opposing sides comments out of context and hope for the best. Sowing confusion and failing to engage on the key issues is what you're about here.
Would a proper scientist claim that they have all the facts?
What ARE you talking about? Scientists are a subset of people. The relevance is they are experts whereas not all people are.
As you clearly don't understand the process by which scientific conclusions are reached, let alone the crucial issues your comment is pointless.
Of course, science evolves. But you cannot say all science is untrue because we don't have all the facts all of the time.
On a daily basis you make decisions which are based on scientific certainty, more or less. It's about risk management.
The risks of failing to take measures on climate change are becoming evident to all but the most extremist of people.
Another subset of people.
