I was dosed up, so I didn't sneeze, I coughed into my paper hankies, which I disposed of inside my own luggage - very quietly, but basically I had a very bad cold and the doctor I saw on the Saturday (before my Monday departure) said I wasn't infectious - didn't have any of the bad ....itis - type conditions just very weakened because I was neglected in a household which had someone close to dying and I was unimportant
my daughter was at that stage, for the first time only walking with a stick and support of another human being and I could no longer watch her decline, which would have resulted in death in just a few weeks and and it was impossible to continue living in that home, where there was mostly hushed silence and a hysterical and frightened women in command .
In case you are still reading: she survived this low and was eventually accepted into a drug trial - since then she has improved.
