Hello Gang,

Did anyone read the article in yesterdays AFR about Twiggy getting a bit cheesed off with Harbinger ??

Apparently Harbinger have been 'lending' their shares to third parties who are short selling the stock, which is obviously wreaking havoc with FMG share price of late.

In light of that, it was interesting to note that MMX seems to be suffering from the same affliction. I have no doubt in my mind that there is a very deliberate and concerted short selling campaign being waged against MMX.

I think Sino will do their best to drive the price down, and then make a laughable first offer price. However, they've already set a precedent with MIS @ 6.38, so I'm trying to comprehend on what basis they'll make a lower offer for MMX, given that we are now in the driver's seat with the infrastructure, and a comparable resource.

Not much fun watching the share price getting hammered but all will correct itself in due course...
