There's absolutely money to be made and no shade to anybody who gives it a go and makes a buck because thats the name of the game. But i'll never touch it personally. As a value investor I can't justify exposing myself to a metal with no real use and the proposition strikes me as participating in an 8000-year-long greater fools game and I have no desire to be the one schmuck who happens to be holding the bag when it all packs in. And that is even if it doesn't pack in until the year 3421 and I miss out on 30% gains every year until then, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep.

lithium, iron, etc - if its good for something i'll give it a go.
