The helium increased the value of the project. We don't get a royalty on helium that I am aware of. As for the comment from Two Fat Ladies hoping that JB knows what he is doing, why do people think all these companies are being run by JB? Just because he signs off on announcements or tweets? GLV project isn't his baby. Pat and Chris are the ones that are driving this I believe. JB would have his hands full with 4ce and WFE. He would know doubt be kept in the loop and have input but GLV is more Pat and Chris than JB.
