Just as I haven't become *too* morose and disheartened at the SP over the last 6 months, I won't become *too* optimistic and heartened by a good day. As old mate Seneca posited, disappointment is inextricable from expectations: a small dose of pessimism can draw you closer to reality at times.
LPD's road is a long one, more so now than ever. We should only be focusing on the stage gates (articulated so well by Sharpey and in4apenny). Until we start hitting them, depth and other indicators are cold comfort.
