i've read every post on this thread for the last few months and i dont believe there is a single ramper amongst the longterm regulars on UMC.

the discussion here simply re-iterates an enormous amount of research which points to a very bright future. i read it to supplement my own research and beliefs about this stock, as everyone should. HC should never form the basis for an investment decision.

how do i know this? in my early days i got caught up in the hype of a medical stock and did $10k (refer prior post). lesson learnt.

we are all here cos we want to make money, and lots of it. but when it comes to sleeping with a clear conscience, unless u duped a little old lady out of her life savings you should be ok.

if someone has read this thread at $2.70, bought in and now feels like they got played by rampers, well that just means they shouldnt have been in here in the first place.

personally i dont visit threads which i have no interest in.

why do you post on the UMC thread? (apart from the fact thats its ur right to post as u see fit)
you only ever mention that the io sector is taking a hit and that ur waiting for a cheaper entry point, maybe.

you rarely discuss the facts:
- 111.7mt high grade jorc resource, DSO infact
- railway upgrades to follow
- RIO has done deal and signalled intention to do more given right location and ore quality
- possible upside from drilling jumbo and yandi, in the heartland of where the majors expect 20 to 30mt of io
- another dozen prospective targets in the same area
- stated interest in 10mtpa port berth
- location location location...3km to bhp rail and 25km to rio rail
- low strip ratio
- scoping and pre feasibility studies in pipeline
- forecast demand for io from china and india

im not disputing ur right to have ur own views, but i for one would be really interested in hearing why u think all of the above will fall thru and UMC will just be a speccie that will never turn a profit.

i agree, all junior io plays are speccies.
i dont agree that UMC is a high risk speccie.
the 110mt jorc has derisked it significantly.
the price doent reflect this yet as the market is a mess at the moment. but that just makes UMC amazing value at these prices.
