The very difference between Socialism and National "Socialism" is the Hitler saw serfdom, those who owned no land but shared the use of common lands, as the body of people he wanted to use to achieve his ambitions. His Nationalism made economic sense in those times of trade boundaries, yet the nationalistic fervour he created wanted to erase the boundaries to make an empire.

Is there any correlation with the Greens, or environmentalists/greenies, or leftist ideology?

The fool who started this thread was merely using the same sort of hate-speech that Hitler used. There is the correlation with the right wing.
