I agree with a lot of that, I just think the Maglev is part of a new era or could be .
Interesting to see new advancements with batteries and VTOL.
With a Maglev, and you talk about people numbers which is fair the key becomes the quantity of people on the train and price and the number of carriages carriage flexibility and mobility
If there is a lot of people on the train with a lot of carriages going between big populations like Melbourne and Sydney the price can come down because of the number of people moving if speed can be maintained.
I think a lot of people would move far more but do not because price too high and speed currently too slow. People fly less for same reasons.
Some puppet masters like people to stay where they are and rot away as slaves!!
