A random tax question for y'all: say I've held 5000 msb for 2 years, and I've purchased 1000 in the last couple of months. If I sell ALL 6000 shares today, will I only be charged capital gain taxes on 50% on the profit of 6000 shares, or only the amount I've held for over a year (I.e. the original 5000, and the remaining capital gain on the last 1000 at 100% of the profit)? (I'm not thinking of selling and amounts do not correspond to what I actually own)
