High Octain (I just love that little joke),

Yes, I and other shave posted that the darn announcemnet that Monday just stunk like a dead fish and still to this day do not understand why that wasn't just aired with the rest of the laundry on hte 29th of August.

One thing though, the constant talk that "Centro is not a forced seller of assets" is quite telling. Add to that the fact that most in and out of the market would agree that on the whole the Australia Shopping Centre Assets are high quality. Potential buyers then need to be aware that they only have a very definite window to grab hold of these assets.

I wouldn't necessarily say (not saying you are saying this just commenting) that the properties will be on the market forever. What happens if all of a sudden the global environment comes out of this liquidity trap? What happens if (here's hoping) New Plan/Super LLC is flogged of in its entirety? You can bet the Australian Property assets will be off the market.

I've said before that to an experience property trust/manager the Management rights would have been very unattractive. But what if you really want high quality property assets and that's the only way to get them? THe management rights wouldn't be conditional for ever. It would be tagged on or a few to several years at best.
