    Yeah man totally true, let's do nothing instead and accept massive bushfires, increases in temperature, droughts, dry rivers, rising sea levels, more frequent storms and occasional huge floods as the "norm".

    Time to grow up. Australia has an imperative to take action and to force others to take action because of the nature of our country. We are extremely vulnerable with a dry interior and large population on the coastlines. We need to be a leader in the space, pushing China/India/USA and other big emitters to move forward. Not a do-nothing country idly sitting on our hands as the problem gets worse.
