    Australia has an imperative to take action and to force others to take action because of the nature of our country.”

    Stopping the rapid rise of emissions in the developing world is indeed what’s needed if total global emissions are to fall one day. But how does Australia - or any country, or collective of countries for that matter - enforce energy policy in developing countries?


    We need to be a leader in the space, pushing China/India/USA and other big emitters to move forward”

    Why do the leaders of other big emitters need to be “led” in order to move forward?
    Why don’t they simply do so of their own volition?
