Yes a Pharma approach is good but it would be better to have the farmer as well as this would result in lower costs.
The PBS has granted approvals to cannabis, and derivatives, packed into soft gel caps, sprays and liquids which have a lower absorption rate (ex. nasal or oral sprays), have variable dosage, necessary storage requirements and shorter shelf life than the hard shell caps that AC8 has developed.
Still such approval may get held up by Ministerial discretion. Hunt is dead against cannabis so there may be some delay. And there are many other conservative members of cabinet who are likely to throw up objections in the upcoming meeting... we'll just have to wait to find out how this goes.
