That may be the settlement date - it was trading up to 17c just a few days before that
Timing is also interesting - I believe there is some sort of rule that normally a director shouldn't buy within 3(?) weeks of expected news. The Annual report is due at the end of the month, so this may have been seen as a last chance to buy. Also means nothing else is likely to come out until then.
