It won't be US$3000 in Russia. The most I reckon now is US$1000 there. The rest of the world will be paying US$3000+ though I am sure. Still big bickies.
The directors have copped a hiding for last week's presentation. I wasn't there but it seems they have shot themselves in the foot.
Might this have been an inadvertant ploy until an Opes settlement.....speculation abound that APRA are threatening ANZ's licence if they don't pay up 100c (on March 27 values). They are reportedly fuming that ANZ ever got involved in taking an AMSLA to retail investors.
