Sava
May I suggest if you’re remotely interested in buying this stock that you go back and read many of the company’s past announcements and you will get a somewhat clearer picture of UMC’s transport options and the future potential of this one. Also go back over much of what’s been posted on here as some posters have had some quality input.
Start here with pre-feasibility study
The possibilities I see are ;
• 2mt road operation to Port Hedland.
• 2 to 5mt road operation up to FMG’s rail line while a 110 klm rail spur is being constructed.
• After rail spur constructed 5 and then ramping up to 10mt mining operation.
• Use of RIO and or BHP rail lines, dependant on government legislation or private agreement with RIO / BHP. (Such as Iron Ore Holdings have.)
• Mine Gate Sales agreement with either BHP or RIO.
• Joint Venture partnership.
• Off take agreement with foreign entity.
• Take over of UMC.
• Selling off Railway Deposit. Special dividend distribution to shareholders. Continue development of remaining assets.
• Transport of iron ore to China directly using a hot air balloon.
Take your pick, its all up for grabs at the moment. Either way Railway is worth much more than UMC's paper at the moment.
