The Federal Government might stop funding the University of Queensland but it appears that Trevor Evans Mp and Brisbane City Council are both LNP controlled so it sure makes you wonder what is happening in the LNP in Queensland? perhaps someone has stacked inner city LNP branches with lefties?
Not only have Premier Annastacia Palaszscuk, Police Minister Mark Ryan, Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll and UQU President Ethan Van Roo Douglas damaged themselves but I think Trevor Evans MP and the Brisbane City Council are also irreparably tarnished.
You would think that Brisbane City Council Mayor Adrian Schrinner would have more control over his bureaucrats and expenses and travel budget? I think The ALP made a mistake in getting Patrick Condren with his issues to run against Schrinner but perhaps the ALP do not want it, it is so riddled with problems.
The LNP will probably intervene and expel the Brisbane City Council when it wins office so the Brisbane City Council election is a farce anyway.
the Drag Queen scandal and its ensuing aftermath has probably sealed the fate of the Brisbane City Council after the State Election?
