Intermittent eating simply means that there is a period of fasting within a specific time span. I am doing the 16:8, sometimes I do 18:6, depending on how I feel. Sometimes I can last the time, other times get too hungry and thus I eat. I notice Light and Easy have kick-started their diet by adding an IE element in the first couple of weeks into their programme.
So, if you finish eating by 6pm, you don't eat during the evening again, go to bed, and then eat a late breakfast/brunch at about 11 am. That's all you do. Just don't over eat through the eating period however. Just eat as normal or even better, eat a little more healthy....sure way to lose some extra kgs.
