It is not that simple as there are also three Independants who would effectivly hold the balance of power even if the Nats joined the Libs to form a government. The four Nats may have more to gain by sitting on the cross-benches and wielding power over whoever forms government which would probably be Labor in that circumstance. A minority Labor government with Independants wielding the power may not be such a bad thing for WA as it breaks the hold of the major parties neither of whom is much good. Dave R.
