ALC has had small 30k - 100k quantities of daily shares being shorted, for far longer than the shortman charts show. Its been happening for nearly a year and is not a new "threat". The numbers have remained low through out this time, and it sure didn't prevent the run to 30 cents.
As for the shortman data, the control over what shortman can now show on their site (the table that used to be shown at the bottom of the page) has changed. And the change wasnt "by choice".
