Yes, the consolidation will kill the share price.
In the last 10,000 time a consolidation has occured the share price was killed in 9,999.
But by all means chance your hand.
The solution should be obvious based on the history of consolidations. You should exit now and then come back post consolidation. This should avoid a capital loss.
