I think sensible people can see where the entire attack Scomo crap came from in the media. Politics 101. We should all know the rains would come in due course but reading the madness in the press, people must have been wondering if it will ever rain again. Fairfax have another article this morning about Burrendong dam out near Dubbo. I’ve seen that dried out multiple times during my life time. The article is just trying to show it as a new thing and more proof of climate change. Papers work on the promise that city people don’t know a lot outside their day to day movements. Milk comes from the fridge attitude. Part of the problem is finding journos that actually research stuff and don’t just ram home their own message. They won’t be reporting on that dam when it fills up again. That isn’t bad news.
