re: heading north Ive been to a few ASX seminars and the answers I got was not neccessarily to diversify but rather have a few stocks and know everything about them... see I started margin lending 08/01 and if I had a diversified portfolio Id be up ~20%max over 30months... but I'm up over 60%..I see myself as a contrarian value investor looking to buy takeover targets with a little bit of income stream to help pay the ml.
