Thankfully for what ? Perhaps your political ideology but unfortunately it will make no difference to anything regarding climate change.

As an aside, what makes you claim that Australia is run by Murdoch when all indications are that like all "democracies" Australia is run by what is deemed acceptable to the voters.

Successful Politicians navigate by offering all the different flavours of candy required and promising even better candy down then track.
It's all candy but they know that's what the voters respond to.

But laggard rogue states like Australia and Saudi Arabia need to step up too.
