@kurrajong; anyone who has studied climatology at tertiary level [as I've done] knows only too well just how complex weather prediction really is.
That's why some of the World's most powerful super-computers with world best software are deployed by organisations such as Australia's BOM.
As for climate, that's a different story!
Since 'climate' is roughly the sum total of all weather over at least 50 years of records it can be analysed to provide statistical trends. Ignoring hard such data and peer-reviewed science is akin to burying your head deep in the sand and behaving like a dinosaur.
