"Current situation is they are liable for 60 - 65% tax in Russia, thats before any other Country such as Australia take a cut."
CB can you explain this sentence to me please?
A company like Optus (SGT), I assume pays no tax to ATO as their dividends are 0% franked.
A company like CPB pay a partially franked dividend due to the percentage of sales made in Oz(taxed by the ATO and therfore franked) compared to sales made overseas (taxed by the another country and not franked).
I am not an expert in international taxation laws so above statements are a guess.
What I want to know is why do you believe SLA will be taxed in Russia and again in Oz for sales made in Oz (the only way I can see Australia "take a cut" on top of Russia)?
Thankyou in advance for your response.
