my understanding of what will make these people happy depends on who they are? -
a) if you are a lunatic hard left green- then dismantling the current industrial complex & reverting back to pre-industrial era world is what your after. eg Denuttali, Bob Brown, most of the Melbourne electorate. b) if you are a hedge fund billionaire, merchant banker, investor in new technology then an emission trading scheme ETS or carbon tax, price, cap and trade scheme is what you'll be after. eg The turnbulls, the atlassian wanker. c) if you are the ALP then anything that gets you elected at the next election is what you'll be aiming for.
and if you are a quiet Australian, then you will pay$$$$, one way or another for any or all of the above.
