It is the result of the most successful anti-vaccination campaign in recent history (based on un-vaccinated % population ) and the current impact on Samoa :

Deaths : 83
Infections : 5697

Deaths as % of population : 0.04%
Infections as % of population : 2.85%

Percentage of infected died 1.46%

This is what can happen to a population with high levels of unvaccinated individuals



Scientifically, there is no debate.
The measles vaccine is effective.
Most of those who contract measles, unsurprisingly, are those who are unvaccinated.


If you are an anti-vaccination proponent, then you are responsible for the deaths and misery that has been happening in Samoa.
