Typically in bear markets you get a day and a bit rallies in the US.
On that basis, the US markets have had their big up day and now might see highs above last night only to then falter and probably sharply.
Of course that assumes the stereotypical response and it would be too easy if it was always a guarantee.
It was interesting that the Dow didn't go up over 300 pts as that has been a death rattle for all of US history.
Strangely, I actually see our markets technically more bullish than the US on basic indiactors.
The other rule to remember is than rallies in a bear market make new lows in no more than one day more than the rally days and vice versa.
Yeh and rules are made to be broken.
