The specs listed from the other companies are what is available on their website as what they guarantee for their customers. The product may exceed that, as you say, but the contracts are written based on those specs.
As for why there isn't the actual result like there was with carbonate, its because LOH-Max is at much greater risk of IP theft than L-Max is. LOH-Max is directly applicable to any operation that produces lithium sulphate as a byproduct, such as the spodumene converters mentioned in the announcement, so there is much greater risk of someone reverse engineering the process from publicly available information.
If you tell the market exactly what the grade is and exactly what the impurities are, someone can work back from there using the public patent documents as a guide.
The significance in the announcement is that it is in the ballpark for qualification with offtake partner(s). That is the real test of the process, and that's what is starting now. The rubber meets the road for the team with that coming over the next 6-9 months. That's about all we can read from it.
