How is that ? Don't they use hydrogen to make electricity and store it in lithium batteries ? May need smaller batteries for their cars but introduce more complexity and higher running and servicing costs. The idea had merit 20 years ago with less powerful NiMh or NiCad batteries but why would you bother with hydrogen now when you can get 500KM + out of lithium battery with fast charging and battery life technology improving on a weekly basis ? Unless is to provide employment to service station attendants , mechanics, truck drivers transporting hydrogen to service stations employed and fuel excise incomes to governments ?
