bbloff, we are nowhere near 1929 levels....for that to happen in todays terms would see the DOW at 1557 (and that's not a misprint).

But I personally do not see this as a 1929 event. Historically this is a 1906, 1937 or 1974 event....in todays terms that would see the DOW back at 2002 lows by end 2009 or 7300ish.
