I think it was PennyO who suggested that even if Marlin 2 flowed at 50mmcfd the market would largely ignore it.

And I think I suggested that, whilst that is a fancifully large number, the market would respond positively to another 10mmcfd well.

Well, sorry Penny, I was wrong.

BUR could find the Hope Diamond at the bottom of a well, but in the current market, nothing will happen.

Investors either do not have the free cash, or shares that they can take profits on, in order to buy some BUR, no matter how strong the story is.

I would happily buy another $50K-$100K worth of BUR, if the rest of my portfolio were not equally underpriced and compelling value.

I suspect many of the posters on this forum are in the same boat - we are bullish about BUR, but don't have the free cash to top up.

Also, Whilst Neil_WA offered a good suggestion re NOT selling the initial high flow rates from Marlin 2 now, but waiting until the Northern winter, it seems as if Marlin 2 will go straight onto production. (At least the gas price, denominated in A$, offsets the current lower US$ gas price).

Fundamentals are great, sp is in the doldrums. So we wait, friends : )
