No NEWS - I would never trade an oppie like this if I wasn't aware of the FPO. The FPO had support at 0.098, so the oppies were always going to go below 0.01. Why 0.006? Investor mentality says that they won't sell into 0.005 this close to expiry (go down with the sinking ship theory). So it's not unusual for 0.006 to be the choice. At the end of the day it comes down to volume, risk, investor psychology and behavour, knowledge of history, cost vs profit and luck.
Hope this helps. Expect the oppies to do one final death run to around 0.014 in the coming days.
