I have always agreed that ultimately EXT holders will make the most money out of a JV with RIO as opposed to a takeover by RIO.
I am in full agreement with you.
I will ask this, is RIO in the habit of being a minority shareholder in any arrangement?
I agree that a JV is better but I remain adamant that RIO will incrementally increase its control and a JV will require far more patience from us.
The patient will always win.
