But if anyones interested in some plain facts, then the best yard stick I can gauge by, is Newcrest's investment in Red Chris porphyry Cu/Au mine last year.

Newcrest paid 1.15 billion AUD for a 70 percent stake in the mine.

Red Chris mineral resource is stated as 20 mill oz Au and 6 mill ton Cu. 70 percent of this converted to Au equiv is around 30 mill oz. Compare this to Cadia Au equiv of around 70 mill oz and you can see a resource of slightly less then half of Cadia is worth close to 1.2 billion to Newcrest.

So if NMPP can stump up half of a Cadia then there's 2 dollar a share by precedence, etc
