SLOP is all we are talking about here. Sunscreen 50+.

The Cancer Council would be worried that people would stop using Sunscreen entirely which they probably would if they were informed of the Chemical compounds contained in the formula that can induce Cancer.

The public needs to be made aware there are alternatives that provide the same protection without any possibility of damaging chemicals entering our Bodies.

I was surfing in the 1960s when the BIG innovation was Pink Zinc. Now we had a choice White or Pink,how cool was that. Also no Leg ropes, no Wet Shirts, no removable fins, and a choice of BP or AMPOL WAX. Nice petroleum products. So even then ZINC was the only product that worked. All the rest were designed to make you TAN as fast as possible (Burn) cooked in some oil or other. As far as a NUMBER with a + after it,didn't exist.
Of course the Zinc Cream was thick and "Gluggy" but it did its job. Mostly only used on the face.
Now we have the 21st century version, a Zinc Nano particles version which is comfortable on the Skin, basically invisible, unless they bring out a Pink version and chemical free.

So Slip, Slop, Slap is not under attack.
