    I will investigate more - incl IRESS - over the next week. I think I'd prefer a live datastream ..but haven't yet determined whether I want EoD data only (as is likely sufficient for creating Trading Plans) or a live data feed (to identify contraction/expansion/trend zones in-running).

    Chi-X: yes, there's that. I'm still to make sense of how Chi-X can offer midpoint prices (that aren't available to ASX "customers") AND (it seems) the ability to queue-jump with orders.. HUH!!???
