Voltaire's rules or rather expectations for day trading.
If the US had a quiet night then expect a good move here one way or the other.
If the US has a big down night then at best we flatline but the odds favour a recovery after a poor opening.
If the US has a big up night then vice versa of previous satement.
I know there are some that can predict the day's action from the opening or the first hour but so far that eludes me.
Interested to hear any wisdom in this regard.
