Seems that way doesn't it.
Trouble is, most of us are too lazy to actually record it all and translate it into money making statistics.
I plead guilty.
It really is amazing how little time is spent on research either fundamentally or historically or statistically by almost all traders and yet they expect rewards.
It doesn't happen in any other area of endeavour so why should it happen with trading.
In the long run I think it doesn't. Most have some initial success in a bull market, think they are brilliant and get wiped out in the next bear.
Some like me take a lifetime to get a small advantage.
Then there are those who treat it seriously and do seriously well.
I guess just as well, or the vast majority of the population would be sitting at home playing computer games otherwise known as trading and contributing little to the economy.
