Back onto yesterday's announcement of Peter Duerden's appointment:

I think everyone missed the biggest news from the announcement:

It looks like our new MD has continued buying MAG shares after his entry into the Top 20 straight after the Boda discovery.

He had ~2.5M shares when the top 20 was released but from yesterday's announcement it looks like he has gone up to 4.85M shares.

Duerden knows Boda and the area better than anyone else so buying MAG shares like crazy should give the rest of us some idea of the potential and chance of success for Boda and for MAG's own Boda (Lady Ilse).

He discovered Boda for ALK (ie. in charge of ALK's exploration for 10+ years and put together the drilling program that discovered Boda).

He was district geo down the road at Cadia Valley with Newcrest.

Leading expertof the area and has done region defining work...

The other news out of the announcement is that they're also excited about our Parkes Project which is in the Parkes Fault Zonewhere ALK is currently spending $20M+ on exploration/development and getting results like 84.0m at 4.06g/t Au. The Parks Fault Zone runs through the ALK & MAG grounds:

- leading expert on East Lachlan gold-copper porphyry systems

- led Alkane Resources’ North Molong Belt gold-copper porphyry exploration for 10+ years

- his work contributed significantly to Alkane’s recent Boda gold-copper porphyry discovery (ie. discovery a result of everything he put together)

- served as district geologist for Newcrest at Cadia Valley which provides him a unique insight for advancing the Company’s assets in the northern Molong Belt and wider East Lachlan

Other:
- recent Boda gold-copper porphyry discovery has highlighted the potential of the northern Molong Belt for Tier 1 gold-copper discoveries where the Company holds a portfolio of advanced targets and dominant tenure position

- Boda discovery has upgraded many of Magmatic’s targets in the area, in particular the Lady Ilse Prospect which shows strong similarities and represents a compelling drill ready opportunity

- Company also holds a strategic position in the Parkes Fault Zone, which is emerging as an orogenic gold discovery hotspot and provides further opportunity to add significant value via near term exploration success
