Names it’s been know for quite a long time that projects in Tanzania over $100m capex need to be partially listed (30% I think) on the DES stock exchange. VRCs stage 2 will take it over that, and the Bond would have actually covered that part of the mining legislature if its not changed. Given the Tanzanian governments attitude to doing business hell knows what will be the requirement in the future. For the record if you had been following the Bond had DSE board approval in Dec18. But was stonewalled by the chairman of the DSE. Let’s just say self interest amongst some of Aswime’s fellow countrymen gets put ahead of the country at times. (I’ve said that to Asimwe), that’s why it’s taken so much time and in the end a change of country was needed.
