is there an aus website which gives me statistics on what property investors have in thier home equity over the last 5 -10 year period. i'd like to compare capital cities and even suburbs by demographics as well
would be good to see and judge where property prices could be heading when you start seeing depreciating equity starts to bite into your investment. its not what the house is valued at its how much equity you own that counts. if youve invested 5+ years ago you should have well above 50% equity ratio by now. I'd love to know how many have a reasonable amount of equity built up over the last 2-3 year period. if prices drop another 5% from here it will erase these investors equity from 2- 3 years agoand they will be forced to sell either by panic bancrupcy or uneconomical risk/reward reasons. on average as investors what is our net worth based on the average borrowing amount.
