The longer it goes on really doesn't mean anything IMO, as H suggested it's just the time the proceedure takes.
One could speculate that because it's taking longer than expected the parties had been notified , had gone in FAR's favour and a deal was being negotiated, but that doesn't stand up to scrutiny, a trading halt would be required in those circumstances...
