you are extremely paranoid. I am not afraid. I was in Shanghai in November 2019.

And I travelled often to Asia for business - even during the SARS, MERS, Avian Flu, Pig Flu, etc etc etc. And I never got sick or was hospitalized.

I guess I get better information from my family member who is in the medical profession.

The fact is we live on a living planet. And viruses have been with us, since the dawn of life.

In Asia, there are more rainforests and as such, more biodiversity which means more viruses. So unless you ask Asian countries to cut down all their forest trees and kill all the animals within, then you will have to live with the potential for future viruses.

As to viruses, every year, we get new ones and we become immune to the old ones.

This year, its the Coronavirus and the US Flu virus, which I guess you are Not aware of.

The US Flu virus has infected 13 Million American and killed directly 39, indirectly over 6000 people. No, it does not make the headline, so there is little drama.

Moreover, each year about 400,000 thousand people die from the common flu.

Relax, don't hyperventilate. If you are old or sick and concern, then go see your local GP.

This thing will be over (in the West at least) by the end of February. The Thai Gov already has a template on how to fight this virus.
